Congratulations to Gary Mawson & James Wade

Some Americans flew across the pond to participate in the UK Blue Square Open this past weekend against many of the top names in darts. Gary Mawson had a fantastic run all the way to the finals before eventually going down to James Wade by a score of 11 legs to 7. Click on this to check out the PDC's coverage of the final. Mawson reached the finals by defeating Dutchman Raymond Van Barneveld, who was fresh off a victory over Phil Taylor. Congratulations to both Gary and James.

I heard about this tourney from the people who have pay-for-tv. Phil Taylor was not on his game, but it still a great achievement to knock him out before the finals.

Indeed! When Phil is on his game there is little that can be done to beat him, especially in a long format.
