Practicing Darts and Writing

I had to miss the ADO Masters Regional because I was busy working on a publishing deadline for an article. As soon as I get the results I will post them.

I have not been getting out to play much lately so I have been practicing at home. It kind of goes together well with my writing because my board is in the same room as my computer. I will write for awhile and then throw a few games of 501, and then sit down and write some more, and so on. It's interesting in that it reproduces the feel of being at a U.S. dart tournament...play one round, wait about an hour, play another round, wait some more, etc. Once I am finished my article I will put in some concentrated practice time and see how it goes.

So far, I am getting mixed results. I get the occasional good leg of 13 or 14 darts, but then some awful ones. I hope to get a little more consistent by May. Until next time, good darts!

13 and 14 dart legs sound great. And you're not in full practice either?

The practice brings more consistency. Even out of practice I will get an occasional good game like that, maybe one out of every ten legs. If I practice a lot they come more often, and my "bad" games, i.e. over 21 darts are fewer. I notice Chelmsford is doing well Tommo! Keep up the good work.
